EMOTIVE IMAGERY FOR THOSE WHO VALUE CONNECTION

I’ve had a love for image making since I was a child, always stealing my mom’s cameras and filling rolls of film (or memory cards) with interesting (we’ll call it that) angles from little moments in our day to day lives. My girls now do the same, which has led me to believe that we all crave capturing a moment and seeing ourselves in that moment. As I grew up I only became more and more interested in creating images and I graduated from college with a degree in photography. I’ve since had the honor of celebrating with well over 200 couples and documenting hundreds of families along the way. One of life’s sweetest delights has been raising two daughters with my best friend.

Whether your wedding day is a big, lively celebration or an intimate gathering, my job is to help you remember the buzz of excitement in the air, the butterflies in your stomach, the bear hugs from loved ones, the way the evening light danced on empty plates, the laughter with friends you haven’t seen in ages, the brief hand squeezes, and the way it felt to have your favorite people gathered in a place that means so much to you. My work preserves these memories with the kind of beauty the moment deserves so that they can be held and re-lived for years to come.

  • My coverage of the entire day is very organic and candid and nature, but I consider formal portraits (family photos etc) and capturing the details an important part of the wedding day.

  • I photograph the majority of my weddings solo, but a second photographer is always available a la carte. There are some specific scenarios, guest counts, or timelines that make a second photographer necessary or strongly recommended - and of course it is always an option depending on your personal preference. We can evaluate this need and cover the specifics when we meet.
