When two people look at each other the way Sherri and Anthony do, whether they are wrapped up in each other’s arms or laughing across the room, you just know. You know their wedding is going to be the sweetest celebration of love and friendship. You know that their family and friends are going to welcome you so warmly. You know that you’re going to create magic together. I can’t tell you how honored I am to be invited into days like these.
IT WAS ALL A DREAM. dreamy light, dreamy arboretum, dreamy couple.
I knew it was love when they told me the thing they are looking forward to most about their wedding was having donuts instead of cake. So yeah.
The dearest two. After years of long distance, dressing up for Skype dates, and spending long weekends together, they got married on the most beautiful of afternoons up north near Traverse City. From the very first email I was in love with Kelsey, she’s one of those gems that makes you feel like you’re friends as soon as you meet, and spares no effort to make you feel included. Still smiling about this dreamy day and all the joy the filled.
Welcome to some of my favorite engagement photos. TJ and Kyle love being out in the country, it’s where they’ve always lived and where fell in love. Naturally we wandered the fields and roads around TJ’s house and ended our evening after sunset with a bonfire in her backyard, because that’s what they do. Their August wedding is going to be (an awesome) relaxed backyard shindig with cookout style food and lots of friends and family. I can’t tell you how stoked I get to work with couples who make their wedding a reflection of themselves- dear everyone, do that. ps- thanks light, you’re a serious babe.
